Study Holidays!!

My holidays started with a great flow that i am going study as usual for this semester. When i try to open my UID (User Interface Design)book others things around me comes interesting. This time even Diwali has to come three days before my semester exam. Even though with all the difficulties i tried to study for the exam. But a miracle did happen before the day of exam. Cyclone named Jal came and washed entire Chennai and Anna University Postponed the Exam .It was heart breaking at first but a stream of relief flowed through my heart since i didnt study. The Postponed date of the exam was also shocking because i didnt get a chance to attend the  Team Campus Amiritapuri contest because of the exam. But it's fine now. Atleast i did get through the prelims with the help of my Classmates(Bhuvaneswari and Ramprasad). It was fun joining the contest with them and i did learn something. The news of not having the exam was F U N but the second exam cannot be postponed so have to write. But being a student i didnt lose the reputation  ( studying before the day of the exam)..............

CONFUSION ?

Why is it like all the programming languages confuse someone ? i dont knw whether it confuses u guys but it confuses me a lot. At present i am learning java but it is real shock to me tat i am c++ with the java .
My Classmates conducted a Mock Interview, one of  my  frd was taking Mock interview for me and he told me to write a c++ program for implementing stack operations. But i confused the concepts or syntax with java.
it was a tremendous shock because  that was the first programming language i learnt.
I hope wen u read jus giving me a suggestion .
But to tell the truth the object oriented concepts are same but the language confuses the concepts....

Open House in IITM

IITM allowed the students of other colleges to view their labs and know about their ongoing research project. It was held for 3 days 5-7of March'10. Me and my friends attended the open house on a good early morning Sunday 7th March. entering the IIT campus of Madras was really a great experience, the campus was fabulous and away from all reality and a pollution free Eco-friendly campus .There was absolute GREENERY. We friends met at Gajendra Circle( yeah two elephants) and started walking from there,To tell the truth we kept on walking walking and lost the way(all the time) . By the way we explored the campus till CSE department , such that we'll never get lost ever again. In the CSB we attended a seminar on Linux Installation which was interesting (since i have not operated a Linux server before). After that we atteneded the Puzzle Champ . At last we started exploring the various labs.
At first we visited the RISE lab . The first research project was a ping pong game but with a different way of implementation using FHDL. The second was based on Robotics. He showed us how it works and Shared his experiences in implementation of the project. The basis of the project was to give a binary input accordingly the robot moved forward and backward. The next lab was Wireless System Networks lab(WSN) where we a project called Data Mule, which collected data from several different sensors and reported a collective data to the base station. The other project was moving a car based on the value from a sensor and they use a software known as Tiny OS for implementing these projects. The next Lab was Theory of Computer Science , where they explained about and approximation solutions to NP-Completeness problem. the last one was the Microsoft Lab where we saw a project based on ERP's (Enterprise Resource Planning) with SOAP (
Simple Object Access Protocol ) and RMI(Remote Method Invocation ) where they use multiple servers for transferring data .
It was a amazing experience and overall we enjoyed our time once without wasting time( hope soo).

MY INSPIRATIONS

There are many inspirations in my life like my father, who is my first role model for me and my cousin sister is also an inspiration (working in TCS) . And I look up to them for guidance..Yes ofcourse friends who tend to be supportive in my every aspect they can.But then I did realize one thing at college.”Seniors also handle a huge responsibility of motivating us”

When i was doing my 2nd year we had a workshop kind of thing by our senior Karthik raghvan (at present pursuing masters in IIT). He gave us a lot of information about the GATE exam and motivated us to go for it.

Next will be our seniors Anish,Pawan and Prasanna who are pursuing their masters in IIT. They’ve always been inspiring us to study conceptually…. And trust me that really helps .

Seeing position of my seniors i wonder how much they must have done to get there.I hope I could also fulfill the height .
Next, about my present seniors like sharanya, sandhya and other friends who had a thrilling Gate experience on feb 14th.They have always been a great friends, guide and motivators to us. They’ve always been ready to help us study
We can never get seniors like them. And 'likewise i also hope to be of help to our juniors and motivate them to reach their DREAMS like how our seniors have helped us
The thing is we can find people telling that "I have pursued my bachelors in Engineering " in each and every corner.…And i do not want to be one of those who just shout out without being it . I really wanna be different and so thats where i am getting.
